Happy birthday to Miss Elyse Kern

And happy half-birthday to me. I should have thrown a party since I wasn't in Grapevine for mine, and I was really going to, but Mindy and Braeden and Jenn are out of town, it's Elyse's birthday, and Cameron opened Grease today. So there.

But it's half a year until my 18th birthday. Scary thought, yes?

I went to the hospital yesterday.
I get these feelings of pressure in my feet sometimes, like they need to be popped or something, ya know? So Tuesday night I got that feeling. Didn't think anything about it, just hobbled around and went to bed. The when I woke up yesterday morning, I rolled out of bed to go to the bathroom, and BAM! I was on the floor and my foot was throbbing. I freaked out, crawled into the bathroom, looked at my foot and there was nothing. It wasn't swollen or bruised or anything. I was so ticked off. So I tried to walk on it again and BAM! Again! I crashed into the bathroom door and onto the floor. Mom made me get dressed and we went to the hospital. Of course, I take books and come prepared and we didn't have to wait at all. YEY for that. They take me back, ask some questions, then xray my foot. Nothing broken. But every single tendon in my foot is inflammed. NOT. FUN. So the doctor (I kid you not, his name was Dr. Papa) gave me some meds and sent me home. Now, I don't like pain, but for that much pain, I was hoping it was broken or something. But no. No cast, just lots of pain. And a few trips in a wheelchair.

And that's all I's gots to say about that.


HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

OH, and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" comes out tomorrow. And I'm going to see it with or without you.

And Cameron, I'm sorry I couldn't come see Grease. I hate missing the first day! I'm sure you did great though.
